Richard A. Olson, DC, is the founder of Dr Olson Health, where he works as a joint injection specialist providing excellent care to adolescents and adults in and around Peoria, Illinois. For over 20 years, Dr. Olson has used holistic therapies to relieve pain and other symptoms of musculoskeletal injuries and chronic diseases.
In addition to his chiropractic expertise, Dr. Olson has vast knowledge in many areas of health care, body care, weight management, and nutrition. He’s also an applied kinesiologist and a certified sacro-occipital technique (SOT) instructor.
Dr. Olson graduated with honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He has extensive experience in advanced chiropractic techniques, including the Activator® technique. Dr. Olson also specializes in other holistic modalities, including regenerative medicine therapy, to treat back pain, neck pain, joint pain, and headaches.
When not serving his patients, Dr. Olson enjoys playing with his two children and taking walks with his family. Dr. Olson, his wife, Angela, and their children attend Bradley Epworth United Methodist Church in Peoria and regularly volunteer in the community.
The Olson family also understands that healthy food can be quick, simple to prepare, and delicious. Dr. Olson is an excellent cook who loves to create new, healthy meals. He also believes that staying physically active is a foundation of good health and regularly works out at the gym, swims, rides a bicycle, and plays golf.
